FITNESS CONSULTATIONS

The Philip Nearing School of Wing Chun is pleased to announce our collaboration with Irena Simonovic as a fitness consultant. Irena has graciously consented to share her extensive background in health and fitness with us during her tenure here. Ms. Simonovic has a degree in physical culture from the University of Nish in Serbia. She began her studies in Shotokan Karate in 1988 and was on the national karate team from 1994-1998.

She is a champion many times over in both kumite and kata. She presently has a black belt, 3rd dan in Shotokan Karate. From 2001-2006, Ms. Simonovic had her own karate academy for children and from 2004 has been a personal trainer and kickboxing teacher in her native Serbia. At present, she is studying Wing Chun with Sifu Nearing and is available for personal fitness consultation.
